If you’re a new employee at a company and your boss says, “We need an HR person to come in and talk to this person about his/her concerns,” what should you do? If you can’t or won’t say it, then you probably shouldn’t say it.
Yeah, you could always just say, “I’m not getting paid to be here.” But there are a lot of people who are more than happy to give you their job. In fact, if you have the opportunity to talk to the HR department or your manager about what you’re doing, you should do it. If you are not comfortable saying it, then you should not say anything.
Like the old saying goes, you’re not a slave if you can’t say no. If you can’t say no, you can’t say you don’t want to do something. At the end of the day, it’s up to the people running the company if they are willing to pay your salary. If they can’t pay your salary, they won’t be paying it. If you feel that it’s not worth your pay, then it’s not worth it.
It is my impression that many companies have a disconnect with their employees. For one reason or another, they expect more from them than they are willing to give. If youre not feeling like youre getting enough, you need to make sure that you are. If youre not feeling that your department is performing at your level, you need to find a new position. If youre not feeling appreciated, you need to make sure that you are.
The disconnect between employers and employees can cause a lot of problems. Many companies have a policy that states that their employees are to be paid at least the minimum wage. This is a policy that many employees have taken advantage of because they feel like they are being treated unfairly. It is not uncommon for employees to start looking for other jobs when their pay check is not up.

Shes not as good at interviewing people, but shes very good at finding out if they are the good employees or the bad employees. Shes the perfect employee.
