The compensation data from HubSpot is quite a bit different than what the typical business owner would receive. The fact is that we have a high turnover rate, meaning that if a job gets filled, it’s gone within a couple of weeks of the hire. We also have quite a bit of turnover. You need to hire someone who is the most talented. If youre looking for a manager, you should hire someone who is very productive. Theres a big difference between an employee and a manager, and you need to make sure that the manager is the one who makes the decisions.
However, as you might have noticed, this list is not all about salaries. One of the perks of working for HubSpot is that they have a huge pool of skilled, experienced, and talented people. These people can help you or work with you for free. You can actually get hired by many of these people as you get a few thousand extra dollars if you take time to work with them. Thats not always the case though. Sometimes, you end up getting hired by the same people you were hired by two weeks ago.
When the two weeks is up, you still have to make an application and show your skills, but at least now you can look at the list of potential employers and see if it is a good fit.
One of the biggest problems I see with this type of hiring is that it is so easy to screw up. Its easy for hiring managers to just say they don’t want an employee with your skills, or that they don’t want an employee with your previous job. If you have a good resume, it won’t be hard to find a job at your current job.
I see a lot of these sorts of problems in tech companies. There is a tendency for managers to want employees with the same basic skill set, and hire people with the same skill set regardless of their previous experience. Thats why it is so hard to find jobs with experience in a different field. I am no longer qualified for my job as a software engineer because I used to fix cars at a garage, but I am qualified for my current job as a programmer.
