This is the perfect time of the year to ask yourself, is this real? Is it possible to be more self-aware? These are questions that we often struggle with, but they are still necessary. They are the tools that will allow us to change our own lives and the way we live our lives. We can’t avoid our regrets or the way we feel because they are part of our life, we are just not aware of it.
Another aspect of this time of year is the annual “self-awareness” contest. Last year we had a total of 6,000 entrants in the contest. At the end we had 6,500 people registered as winners. It was a great success and the winners of the contest will receive a $100,000 prize. We are always open to new participants and so far they have been nothing but awesome.
So, do you really want to take your life into your own hands? Do you know that you can let go of your life to fix it, do something you know will make the world a better place? If you are not sure what that means, I would say that the biggest regret you have right now is that you are not aware of what you are regretting. And that is what we want to fix.
Well, that’s the thing. If you’re going to do something, you have to do it right. And that means being aware of what you are regretting and then fixing it. Or, you could just do nothing. We’re going to do something about this, that, and the why.
Now, you may not know what you are regretting, but I guarantee you that you are regretting it right now. And that is exactly why we are here.
As the title implies, let us hope that this is just a phase. Because if it is, it will be the first of many. Like the one I just described, the one where the game changes for no apparent reason. Or the one where, for no apparent reason, something bad happens to Colt and he gets stuck on Deathloop’s party island for eternity. Or the one where it turns out that Colt had a hand in killing everybody on the island.
It’s also a bit of a stretch to assume that let us hope that this is just a phase. Because let us hope that this is just a phase will mean that this is just the beginning of what happens every time we play the game. The fact that this is the first time we’ve seen such a dramatic change in a game is a good indication that we’ll be seeing a lot more of it in the future.
Deathloop has already been known to be a bit of a “phase” in the past. But the game is not only a little “phase” in the traditional sense, it’s also a game that has the player’s own goals in mind and a goal that is much more than simply slaying all of the Visionaries. In fact, the game is also a story in itself. The player can become the head of the island’s party.
A lot of games feature goals that aren’t achievable and you have to keep working to achieve them, but Deathloop’s goal is much more important than that. It’s not just that players have to get the Visionaries to give up their island. The Visionaries also need to get their own little island and stop being squandered in the hands of the evil forces of the world.
There’s a lot more going on than that though, the island itself is a huge part of the game too. It’s essentially a massive, gigantic sandbox where everything from a beach to the water to the sky is just there for the taking. There’s no real world, like there is with a real city, so you’re free to explore any possible space, making it a very unique experience.
