Some people are not comfortable with images in front of them. They prefer reading text when they can. But if you are one of these people, then feel free to browse the graphic. It’s not hard to see why many people are turned off by the idea of a graphic in front of them. In fact, I think it’s a very effective way to convey your message.
A lot of people are turned off by the idea of images in front of them because its not how they are used in daily life, so when they see a graphic, its generally not what they expected it to be (i.e., the way they expected an image to look). That can certainly be an issue because it can confuse people, and I think that’s a big part of why people are turned off by the idea of an infographic.
Img is a great tool to use when you are on a budget and have limited space, like with a logo or banner that will be too small. It makes it easier for people to take your message to the people they can actually see, and if you are too cheap to buy an actual graphic (or a printed graphic, it’s really cheap to print a graphic), then the image can be used instead.

Its a big deal to take a good, concise message to a large audience and to make up for it with mistakes.
